Jamie Foxxis many things — Oscar-winning actor, Grammy winner, revered comedian.

His best role, however, seems to be that of dad to his two girls,Corinne Foxx and Anelise Bishop. Jamie — whose real name is Eric Bishop — first became a girl dad when he welcomed Corinne with ex Connie Kline on Feb. 15, 1994. Fifteen years later, he welcomed his second daughter Anelise — whom he shares with his ex Kristin Grannis.

And it seems all that love he poured into them has truly paid off. After suffering a “brain bleed that led to a stroke” last year, theSoulactor spoke about how Corinne was one of the people who led charge of his care and helped maintain his privacy.

“To be honest with you, my sister Deidra Dixon, my daughter Corinne Marie saved my life,” the actor said in avideo posted to Instagram in July 2023.

“I cannot tell you how great it feels to have your family kick in in such a way,” the actor added, noting that “they kept it airtight, didn’t let nothing out” and said that they “protected me.”

As his new Netflix special,Jamie Foxx: What Had Happened Was…premieres on Netflix on Dec. 10, look back at some of the actor and comedian’s sweetest moments with his daughters.

Foxx could hardly contain his joy when his first-born turned 30 earlier this year.

The proud father posted a series of pics on Instagram honoring his Corinne. “The moment I saw you being born, I fell in love with your existence. You are a bright shining light in this world for everyone to see so I celebrate you on your big birthday happy 15×2 no one has any idea how much I love you,” he wrote on Feb. 15.
