Chalamet has been recognized with nominations at various ceremonies throughout awards season, and recently nabbed the 2025SAG Awardover Brody for his portrayal of folk legend Dylan, 83.

Noting that he prepared to play Dylan for five years, he continued, “I poured everything I had into playing this incomparable artist, Mr. Bob Dylan, a true American hero. And it was the honor of a lifetime playing him.”

As for Brody, Sunday’s win marks his second Best Actor Oscar, after previously winning for his leading role in 2002’sThe Pianist; with the latter, he still holds the record for the youngest winner in the category, three weeks before his 30th birthday.

“I feel so fortunate,” Brodysaid in his acceptance speechSunday. “Acting is a very fragile profession. It looks very glamorous, and at certain moments it is."

“But the one thing that I’ve gained, having the privilege to come back here, is to have some perspective,” he added, in part. “And no matter where you are in your career, no matter what you’ve accomplished, it can all go away.”
