Tori Spelling’sdaughter didn’t have the merriest of Christmases last year.

On this week’s episode of her podcastmisSPELLING, theBeverly Hills: 90210star, 51, admitted that her 16-year-old daughter Stella didn’t get a Christmas present last year since she was with her mom shopping for all her other siblings' presents at the time.

“Dean used to help me wrap all the gifts, but obviously, now I’m a single mom, separate households,” Spelling says of her ex-husband Dean McDermott, with whom she shares her five kids —Liam, 17,Stella,Hattie, 13,Finn, 12, andBeau, 7.

“So Stella wraps all the gifts with me, and it’s just, poor thing. She shops the gifts with me. So last year, I’m not kidding, Stella didn’t get a Christmas present at all,” Spelling continues.

When asked why, Spelling says it’s “because I waited to the last minute, and then I was doing it all alone.”

“She had to help me. She felt bad because it was like, ‘Oh, this is, you know, I have to help, and I want all the siblings…'” she continues, trailing off. “Her big thing is she doesn’t want our lives to [be impacted]. So she is really driven on that.”

“This is tradition. This is what we’ve always done. We’re gonna do it. I’ll do it with you,” Spelling remembers her daughter saying. “I don’t care about my gift. I don’t want a gift.”

Spelling says that because her daughter knows how stressed she can get during the holidays, she was simply focused on having an amazing Christmas. Although Spelling had her daughter’s present wish list, Spelling says she didn’t have time to grab her a present since they were both shopping together.

“She stayed up all night with me wrapping gifts. I think she and I finally went to bed at like 4 in the morning,” Spelling remembers. “And then, of course, Beau’s up at like 7 like, ‘Let’s open gifts!’ And we did.”
