Audiences meet Anise, 62, during episode 1 ofThe Later Daters. She married her high school sweetheart, and they welcomed two children. After his sudden death, Anise went on to get married and divorced twice.
Willie — a father of five who has been divorced twice — seemed to be just who she was looking for. The series ended with them dating and seemingly looking towards a future together.
But, as Anise later told PEOPLE, they dated for six months before ultimately deciding to go their separate ways.
“We realized we don’t have enough in common to build anything on, but we’re still friendly,” Anise told PEOPLE after the docuseries concluded. “He lives really far from me. When it came down to the direction he was trying to go and what I was trying to do, it just did not match up.”
Anise went on to share that she’s still looking for Mr. Right and currently has “two or three [suitors] who are submitting applications.”

Viewers also meet Suzanne, 63, during episode 1. The optometrist welcomed three kids with her husband of 27 years before he died.
Suzanne told Ury that her ideal partner loves dogs and the University of Georgia. To her surprise, she fell for Avery, a divorcee with three kids who graduated from the University of Alabama. They ended the series together and vowed to move slowly when it came to a relationship.
The couple dated briefly after filming wrapped and recently reconnected, Suzanne told PEOPLE.
“We are really, really good friends. I talk with him a lot. I’m still interested in seeing him,” she said. “I would not say that we’re an item. I think he’s probably dating other people, and I’m seeing some other people too.”

Audiences were introduced to former paratrooper Nate, 56, in episode 1. He shares one daughter with his ex-girlfriend-turned-best friend and another daughter with his ex-wife, whom he was married to for 16 years.
In conversation with Ury, Nate revealed that he struggles with trust due to an experience with infidelity (his former fiancée became pregnant while they were engaged). He also shared that he is looking for a partner whose home is tidy, like his own, and who was in the same stage of life as him.
Nate went on several dates throughout the show and seemingly connected with two women — Michelle and Lisa — but neither relationship panned out.
Today, Nate is still a bachelor and isn’t actively looking for his perfect match.
“I have kind of stepped out of the dating world a little bit. I may go out here and there, but [I] haven’t really been looking,” he told PEOPLE. “When you’re dating, it takes so much time and energy, and you’re trying to, especially at this age, trying to put your lives together. It’s like how do you do that?”
Nate continued, “If something comes natural and very organic and I just can’t deny it, then okay, so be it.”

Pam, 70, is introduced during episode 2 ofThe Later Daters. The former flight attendant with a bubbly personality has been married twice.
Ahead of Pam’s blind dates, Ury encouraged her to avoid telling “ghost stories” from her past and be open-minded about the men she’d meet. Pam went on to hit it off with Dwight — a father of one who has never been married — but ended the show single.
Pam told PEOPLE that she and Dwight “talk on occasion” and that he’s a “lovely guy,” but there’s nothing romantic between them. She’s also no longer helping with his Atlanta tours.
“I’m just waiting forLiam Neesonto call me and everything will be just fine,” she joked.

“Felton is my best friend now. Me and Felton are so close,” Lori told PEOPLE. “We talk at least three times a week.”
She went on to share that she’s as “single as a dollar bill.”

Greg, 61, is introduced towards the end ofThe Later Datersin episode 6. The construction business owner has been divorced twice and is a father to two sons, one of whom has cerebral palsy.
He told his kids that he’s looking for someone who “puts an emphasis on family” and has “strong faith.” While speaking to Ury, Greg also shared his need to be physically attracted to his future partner.
Greg went on dates with two women: Kelly and Sherry. He enjoyed Kelly’s company, but when he learned she lived in Atlanta, more than an hour away, he decided not to pursue a relationship. He explained to Ury that dealing with traffic was a dealbreaker.
By the end of the season, he reconsidered and reached out to Kelly, but she was already in the early stages of seeing someone new.
