After five months of marriage,Emily Osmentand Jack Anthony have gone their separate ways.

TheHannah Montanaalumfiled for divorcefrom Anthony on March 7, citing irreconcilable differences. A prenup was in place, and the exessettled their divorcejust days later.

“I think with any big decision in your life, whether it’s relationships or work or whatever it may be, you have to firmly plant both feet in that decision,” Osment said in a statement to PEOPLE. “Ultimately, it didn’t work out.”

Anthony and the actress were engaged for more than a year beforetying the knotduring an intimate ceremony on Oct. 12, 2024.

He studied at the University of Virginia

Anthony attended the University of Virginia from 2011 to 2015. He graduated with a bachelor’s degree in cognitive science and behavioral economics, per hisLinkedIn profile.

During his studies, he was a founding member of the Society of Awakening Souls, a meditation, yoga and metaphysical exploration group.

He currently works at Linktree as head of strategic partnerships.

He’s a singer-songwriter

In addition to his work in strategic partnerships, Anthony is a singer-songwriter, DJ and music producer.

He shares songs and live DJ clips on hisSoundcloudaccount under the username “Farnia.”

He and Osment got engaged on vacation

Anthony and Osmentgot engagedwhile visiting Yosemite National Park in California.

In a now-deleted Instagram post, she said she was “deliriously happy” as she showed off her engagement ring — a square diamond next to a circular emerald encased in gold.

“I did not know life could be this sweet,” the actress wrote in the caption. “I am so proud of the life we have built together and the people we have become over the last few years.”

“This love is so big and so uniquely ours and I know it can do anything,” she continued. “I am so honored to stand next to you every day. I love you, Jack.”

He has no public social media profiles

Anthony leads a very private life online and has no public social media profiles. During the early days of their relationship, Osment kept his identity private, until she began posting photos of them together — the first being from a Phish concert in October 2021.

They got married in October 2024 and divorced five months later

Osment and Anthony wed on Oct. 12, 2024, but their marriage was short-lived.

In March 2025, theYoung & Hungrystar filed for divorce from Anthony. Court documents listed their date of separation as Dec. 7, 2024.

With a prenup in place, the exes were able to reach a divorce settlement in a matter of days. Both parties waived their right to seek spousal support.
