Penn State Universityquarterback Drew Allar’s No. 1 fan is his longtime girlfriend, Emma Bush.

The couple have been together since at least 2019, when they were students at Medina High School in Ohio, according toInstagram. Despite attending different colleges — Allar plays football atPenn Stateand Bush is a pre-law student at Ohio State University — they’ve successfully navigated a long-distance relationship.

In his third year at Penn State, Allar has led his team to the semifinals of the 2024-25 College Football Playoffs. They will face Notre Dame in Miami on Jan. 9, and the winner will advance to the College Football Championship on Jan. 20.

“Love you so much,” Bush wrote in the comment section of one of Allar’sInstagramposts following Penn State’s quarterfinal win over Boise State on Dec. 31. The quarterback responded, “I love you too.”

Bush and Allar both attended Medina High School in Medina, Ohio — a small city just outside of Cleveland.

They have been dating since at least 2019 and were each other’s dates to several school dances, includinghomecoming in 2021andprom in 2022.

She attends Ohio State

Bush is a junior at Ohio State studying strategic communications and business. According to herLinkedInpage, she is pre-law and had an internship at Clark & Lowe Attorneys At Law in Columbus, Ohio.

She is also a reporter for Ohio State’s campus newspaper,The Lantern.

She is in a sorority

During her freshman year at Ohio State, Bush joined Tri Delta.

“Ran home to the 229,” she wrote onInstagramafter receiving her sorority bid in January 2023.

A few months later, Allar joined Bush in Ohio forTri Delta’s spring formal. She shared photos from the evening onInstagram, including a cute selfie of the couple.

She’s attended several of Allar’s high school and college football games

Bush has been Allar’s biggest fansince their high school daysin Medina. She now frequently makes the 325-mile trip from Ohio to Pennsylvania to watch her beau play at Beaver Stadium.

In October 2022, during Allar’s first season as a Nittany Lion, Bush shared a photo of her hugging the quarterback before a game.

She’s been supporting Allar throughout the College Football Playoffs

Allar has led the Nittany Lions to the2024-25 College Football Playoffs. After finishing the regular season 11-2, they defeated Southern Methodist University in the first round before securing a quarterfinal win over Boise State at the Vrbo Fiesta Bowl in Arizona, whichBush proudly attended.

Now, Penn State faces Notre Dame in the Capital One Orange Bowl on Jan. 9. Ahead of the game, Bush was already soaking up the sun in Miami, per her Instagram Stories.
