Ian Harding, best known for his role as Ezra Fitz onPretty Little Liars, quietly married his longtime girlfriend, Sophie Hart, in 2019.

The photographer, whom he had dated for almost a decade, has often been one of Harding’s creative collaborators.Harding and Hart marriedin 2019 but did not make formal posts about their nuptials. He later teased his wedding ring onInstagramin 2021.

The following year, Harding and Hart welcomed their first child, a son whose name they have kept under wraps.

She even took the photo of Harding featured on the cover of his 2017 bookOdd Birds.“So proud of you! Congratulations on the announcement of your book @ianmharding,” she shared on herInstagramin 2016. “So honored I got to photograph your cover. ☺️.”

Hart first posted about Harding on Instagram in 2014

Although he and Hart have been together since 2011, the couple have kept their relationship under wraps. She first posted about Harding on herInstagramin 2014, honoring his birthday.

“Happy Birthday to the most kind, thoughtful, and brilliantly talented person I know. @ianmharding,” she wrote alongside a photo of her then-boyfriend.

He posts about her as well. On International Women’s Day in 2021, Harding shared aphotoof the couple in Joshua Tree, Calif., with the caption, “Happy International Women’s Day to you, the funniest talent bomb there ever was.”

They had a private wedding in 2019

In 2021, Harding began posting photos on Instagram that featured his wedding band. However, the couple have not shared photos of their wedding, or information on their engagement.

They welcomed a child together in 2022

A year after their marriage was confirmed, Harding announced that he and Hart had welcomed their first child.

On Sept. 16, 2022, his 36th birthday, the actor shared a photo of his newborn’s hand onInstagram. “Thank you for the Birthday wishes folks. I’m thankful for many things this past year, but most of all I’m grateful for the best early birthday present a fella could ask for,” he wrote.

Although the couple have not shared their son’s name, Harding shared another photo of their child onInstagramto celebrate Father’s Day in 2024.

“Happy Father’s Day. And to this sweet boy: you are everything,” he wrote, adding, “(Photo credit to @sophiiieeehart who I would be lost without.)”

Hart has also shared her feelings about parenthood onInstagram. In a post about her trip for a work event, she shared, “It’s been a beautiful couple years starting a family and I am really looking forward to pouring all I’ve learned and discovered into new work.”

Hart added a shout-out for Harding at the end, writing, “Thank you @ianmharding for taking care of our little one so I could attend and for all you’ve done to help me. I love you ❤️.”

Harding and Hart loved designing their Los Angeles home

Harding and Hart have said that their Los Angeles home was their sanctuary, and the couple loved working with interior designer Shannon Ggem to create it.

“We had all kinds of things to decorate with, but we didn’t have any structure,” Harding toldHouzzin 2014. “The first time that Shannon took us shopping, we only came home with one thing … I realized later that she was sharing her ideas and really gauging what we would want — she let us be ourselves, added to that and came up with a design that was very us."

Although the couple loved creating their L.A. home, they moved to Washington D.C., Harding’s hometown, in late 2021.
