The HBO series is set to return with its highly anticipated third season on Feb. 16, 2025, withMike Whiteback as writer and director to oversee another week of sun-soaked drama and chaos. In November 2023, he toldEntertainment Weeklythat the third installment — which will be set in Thailand — would be “a supersizedWhite Lotus.”

“It’s going to be longer, bigger, crazier,” he said. “I’m super excited about the content of the season.”

“These arepeople that I idolized growing up, and so sharing the screen with them, I had such imposter syndrome,” Rothwell told PEOPLE in September 2024, adding that they all became “so close.”

“You create a family when you doWhite Lotus,” the actress continued. “This is the thing that I will say is the same as season one: the connections you make on aWhite Lotusset are legit.”

Walton Goggins joins the cast as Rick Hatchett, who is described in the press release as a “rugged man with a chip on his shoulder” on vacation with his girlfriend, Chelsea.
