Chris Jonesof the Kansas City Chiefs shed tears during the team’sAFC championship winfor a sweet reason.After Kansas City clinched their spot in theSuper Bowlwith a win over the Buffalo Bills on Sunday, Jan. 26, the 30-year-old defensive tackle explained why he was feeling emotional on the sidelines at Arrowhead Stadium.“I think tonight was one of the biggest games I ever played,” Jones toldESPN’sScott Van Pelt.Jones said he realized “just what’s at stake” as the Chiefs head back to the Super Bowl for the third consecutive time — giving them the opportunity to become the first team in NFL history to win three championships in a row.“And the opportunity to go back three times to the Super Bowl…Just the magnitude of that, you can’t really take it in until the game is over.
